Race Results Reporting Instructions
This season it’s all up to YOU !
That’s right, as far as reporting on your RACE RESULTS, it really is all up to YOU. I have come up with a system for you all to record your own race results for the site. All you have to do is click on the link at the top of the page that says “2011 Member Racing Results” it’s also right "HERE"
Once it opens in your browser, scroll down to the bottom of the page where it say’s on the bottom left “ Google Docs”. Click on that and it will send me a request for YOU to be allowed to edit the page yourself, meaning you can report on your own race results. This will take some of the load off of me and you guys will get the satisfaction of getting your results posted faster and more accurately than I can. Once I approve the request, you should be able to do what you need to do. I’m here to support you if you have problems so just let me know, ok.
Here is a copy of last season’s report so you can get a feel with what we are trying to do this season but with a little more structure. Notice that the rider name is listed only once and then all his or her races are listed directly under the name. This is how the excel work sheet will work as well this season, just insert another row and keep entering under your name and that’s it. "Click Here"
I know there has already been a few races this season, feel free to enter the results for them as well. We want everything entered because it’s a record to show our sponsors that we represented them and represented them A LOT.

Please do three things for me when you start working on the sheet:
- 1. Don’t mess with the design or format, make your entries look like the other guy’s entry and don’t delete anything that someone else put in there.
- 2. Please don’t write a book in the notes field, if you did something killer in the race send me an e-mail and I’ll try to post it on the blog, notes should be simple one liners.
- 3. Be patient, once you make the changes and go to file and “Save” the data, it takes about five minutes to change on the live page so don’t think that is didn’t work, just chill and go back and look at it in few minutes. You can tweak it as much as you like, but each time it will take a few minutes to show your changes and I’ll get another e-mail.
